Raw Material Costs: The main raw materials for coated paper include paper substrate and plastic film. Paper prices are affected by market fluctuations in raw materials such as wood pulp and waste paper, while plastic film prices are linked to oil prices. For example, the recent rise in international crude oil prices may increase the cost of plastic film, thereby pushing up the price of coated paper.

Production Process: Coating processes are divided into single-sided coating and double-sided coating. Double-sided coating is more complex and costly, and its price is usually 10%-20% higher than single-sided coating. Furthermore, coated paper produced using imported equipment or advanced technologies (such as solvent-free lamination) has more stable quality and superior performance, resulting in a correspondingly higher price.

Specifications: The thickness, stiffness, burst strength, and opacity of coated paper directly affect its application and price. For example, coated paper with a thickness of 0.5-1.5mm is suitable for general packaging, while high-strength coated paper with a thickness exceeding 1.5mm is used for industrial pallets or heavy-duty packaging, and is more expensive.

Market Demand: Laminated paper is widely used in food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, and industrial packaging. During peak seasons for food packaging (such as before holidays), surging demand may lead to short-term price increases; while in the industrial packaging sector, price fluctuations are relatively smaller due to stable demand.

Customization Services: Some manufacturers offer services such as logo printing, custom colors, or sizes. These customized products typically involve additional processes and costs, and are usually 5%-15% more expensive than standard products.
